Description :

We USA based the third largest school district in the country. We are looking for qualified and experienced service providers for our requirement of Web Development Services. Our goal is to provide a new website with professional-looking, easy to use and navigate, all encompassing, resource for educators (principals, administrators, teachers, counselors, etc.) in schools seeking information about the various programs, resources and opportunities provided by us. Proposed site launch on September 30, 2009.

Scope of services:

1. The site will be hosted on two load balanced MS Windows servers.
2. Proposals will only be considered for the following platforms: IIS, .NET, SQL Server, Apache, PHP, MySQL.
3. The site will need to integrate with MS Active Directory to provide user authentication. The Data and Analysis team will be able to provide assistance with this.
4. An SSL certificate will be obtained and installed on the server by us. All traffic for users that are logged in must run through HTTPS.
5. JavaScript elements should degrade nicely and should not be required for accessing content.
6. Preference for using a JavaScript library such as jQuery (jquery.com).
7. All site content will be created and maintained by us.
8. Proposed solution must be compatible with MS Internet Explorer 6.0 and above, Firefox 2.0 and above, and other modern WC3 compliant browsers (Opera, Safari, Chrome).
9. To reduce design time and costs, buying and using pre-existing templates is acceptable.
   

Payment terms are negotiable. Interested service providers are requested to send their proposal on or before May 15, 2009 via post, courire or hand delivered only. This tender is global and offsite.
